Hope you don't mind Susie, I'm starting Simple Pleasures today!

Went to Aldi's today, someone had left a quarter in the cart, very nice, Thank you, whomever you are! After shopping I was just going to leave it there to pay it forward to the next person, but a car pulled in and I got to give it to her and tell her I didn't put the quarter in, so I am just paying it forward and she was grateful....Such a simple thing, but it made me smile...The fact that someone did it in the first place and I got to pass it on... a pure simple pleasure!

Well, mine is kinda good and kinda bad!! My grandson is not feeling well, and all he wants is Grandma!!!! No one elese!!!! It is so nice to be loved like that!

And my 5 & 6 yo's want to go get suckers today to take to the lady at the drycleanrs to fill her basket back up since she always shares with them. Nice to see they want to give back instead of just take! I am proud of them!

PS Shell, did you really think I would mind? LOL

My boss bought me flowers for admin professionals day and they just arrived. Its nice of them because they didn't have to do anything.

Dh started my car for me this morning because it was a little chilly.

My simple pleasure was buying two new bras. Since I've lost the baby weight and stopped nursing my old ones didn't fit. They may have been a little expensive but the girls are happy now!

Mine was baking a cake yesterday, just because. Today DS told everyone we saw that "Mommy made a cake and it's NO ONE'S BIRTHDAY!!" He told me that he is going to tell his teacher and his friends and his buddies.... Can you tell we don't have cake unless it's a birthday? Then he told me that he wanted me to make him a cake just like that for his birthday. (We usually do store bought cakes).

I just wanted to add another one. I came back to the office from lunch and there is a cookie cake sitting on my desk with a note that says:

The flowers were to brighten the morning...This is to get you through the afternoon!

It was super sweet!

I was completely stressed this morning looking at the clouds since I had to walk to get my son and friend from school. Of course we had a thunderstorm 15 minutes before I needed to leave. My neighbor called ME to see if I needed help with the little ones while I went to get them. That was very nice of her. SOOO she came over I left within a few minutes it stopped raining and I got the boys and we had a great walk home jumping over lots of puddles with no stroller to push. So much fun!
