What's your Simple Pleasure for today, Monday?

My simple pleasures for today are... 1. having clear lungs today, 2. having a happy Evan back (that's been a week in the making), 3. sending Aaron back to school (he had been home sick since last Wednesday), 4. talking to my grandparents, 5. seeing that my friends carried on my thread while I was under the weather and 6. the sun is shining bright today!

Glad you're back Susie!! I have a few for today also:

A warm sunny day (this always gives me pleasure), DS is a cuddle monkey today (sometimes I just need that!) and we watered the new grass seed together today ( DH tore out some bushes and we are seeding that area), I caught up on Desperate Housewives and Brothers and Sisters, uninterrupted this AM!

Yay, I am so glad things are better at your house Susie!!!

I am so happy today to be back to normal at home!!! My oldest just left for 4 months and while I love her dearly, she drives me absolutly crazy!!!!!

I'm glad things are going better for you! I don't know if this is a friends only thread or anything but I wanted to say that today I'm happy to have two healthy boys, a baby kicking away inside, and a house that's on it's way to clean. It's a perfect day.

My 8 year old ds told me he wanted to get me something for mothers day. He doesn't mean just make me something he wants to get me something. I mentioned to him what I would like but he said he was thinking of a diamond necklace he saw on a t.v commercial. He said he thinks it was 399.

I told him that would be $399.00 not $3.99

I am thankful that I woke up in our brand new bed with dh, but he was a good 18 inches away from me! Lol we are able to cuddle when we go to bed and then have our own space to sleep in. Its wonderful.

I am thankful for the baby that is making me hungry every hour and a half! and that dh will be home for dinner tonight instead of on the road.

I am also thankful that dh and I have now been married for one year and a day!

I also have to add that over the weekend I got some stomach virus on sat that ds had on friday. Ds seemed worried about me. He said he was thinking to himself that maybe he should call daddy at work to tell him I was sick. :love:
