I put about one quarter of a cup per about 6 to 8 liters. You could try to go lower and see the results - the worst that can happen is that you have to clean your floor twice therefore I recommend doing the tests on a good day!!!

It will smell like vinegar for about half an hour but then the smell goes away.

Good luck
Marie

I to use "some" method cleaning products, but they are way to pricey unless they are on clearance somewhere...

I put half and half vinegear/water in a spray bottle and use that as my daily cleaner, floor, counters, tables, etc.. I think the only method products I have right now are the polisher, and my window cleaner..

That's exactly what I did and it worked. I had never cleaned with vinegar before, I hate the smell but I was pleasantly surprised to discover the smell fades fast and takes all the house odors with it. I also use diluted bleach to scrub kitchen counters sinks and bathroom.... they are my only cleaners

Actually, vinegar is the best cleaner for all floors -- wood, laminate, lino, marble, tile, etc. I have lots of family & friends with new homes, and they all asked the various reps what to use to clean them, and they all said vinegar. I believe the ratio is 1 cup vinegar to 1 gallon water.

Use the vinegar solution in a spray bottle with the swiffer dry mop, and buy a washable/reusable microterry cloth for the pad -- it works great and it is super frugal.

PLus, the solution in the bottle works on literally everything in your house (countertops, table, sinks, shower, etc.). Also, get another microterry cloth to use in your hnad to wipe down stuff.

the vinegar and water also works good for hardwood floors. The vinegar is also good to put in your laundry (helps keep the washer in good shape says the repairman), dishwasher (repairman again), and things like that. Just add it in with your cleaners that you normally use.
