ok, I got the kitchen done except the top of fridge which is good! I bought the bookshelf for the family room and will spend time this weekend going through OUR books as I relocate them to the new bookshelf and go through dd's books while I re-arrange them as well. All in all I think it will be really nice and organized again and I can get rid or donate what we don't need and it will be a lot less cluttered! Next the master bedroom!

Great Job!

I finished my closet, DH's closet and both DS's closets. I only have the downstairs "catch all" closet to go through then I'm doing my kitchen - especially the junk drawer, I can barely close it!!

Update on my closet "returns" - grand total of stuff that had tags and receipts came to $56.32, $7.89 in store credit at another store. Boy that feels really good - and humbles me to realize the wasteful spending. One receipt was dated back in February, and luckily the store still took it back. I'm saving the store credit for Christmas shopping on gifts.

The even better news is that I can walk in my closets and see everything, and it feels wonderful. Junk drawer is next......

How are you organizing your craft stuff? This is a challenge I am not prepared to battle yet....

Ok I need in on this one, but be forewarned that I'm gonna be bad at it. We moved into this house last November and I'm still not all unpacked. Our last house had a garage for me to hide our clutter in and this one doesn't. So I have boxes piled everywhere. Then with DS Elijah making an early emergency appearance I was out of commission for a while and the clutter got totally out of control.

My first goal is to fill one box by the end of the weekend to take to Goodwill. I have a huge box, half filled, to go and I want to finish filling it and get it the heck outta here. (getting it there will be another challenge )

This week I rented a dumpster...yes, a dumpster. I have already had it dumped once . We've cleaned our our shed, garage, laundry/craft room. It feels great to get rid of so much clutter!

A dumpster - now that is some serious decluttering!! Somedays I feel I could chuck it all in a dumpster too!

I managed to fill the dumpster up twice --- it has never felt so good to get rid of so much "stuff" that we weren't using/didn't work!
