I just spent 45 minutes sitting in the floor of the bookstore picking out a book for dh to start reading to the baby. It was so much fun.

I am so blah and unmotivated today!!! The good thing is that I pretty much did nothing all day and that is okay!!!! I can actually get by with it occasionally!

Wow! A 5 year old with a clean room? Celebrate!

My dd and I played balloons this morning and she giggled so hard when I made it go high. Then we danced together to some cartoon music on TV.

AND, a big one - she's been practicing running and jumping. She got the running down today!!!!! She's only 20 months, but ds didn't run until he was over 3 yrs old - one clue that I knew something was not typical, yet the Dr. pooh-poohed me. She can run! Plus she's excited because daddy's promised to take her out in her wagon this evening. It's too hot and sunny during the day.

AND, DH had a good day in school. Even the bully was nice to him. He was disappointed he didn't get invited to bully's birthday party, but that's OK - we couldn't invite bully to his and we would have turned it down anyway. Plus, dd still is ill w/tummy troubles, so we couldn't go if we'd wanted to unless we just dropped him off. I do think he's OK w/it, since we couldn't invite him to ds' party.

AND, I managed do a couple of minor things around the house today. Woo Hoo!

DD went down for a two hour nap at 5pm tonight. I freaked out because it was so out of character for her. but so many kind mommies talked me down. She woke up a little after 7pm and her first words were, "Mommy, you are such my best friend." :happy dance: :hugs:

I will be buying her a fleet of ponies later today. LOL
