There are few things in life that can compare to this. Today, I was intoxicated by that new baby smell as I held my dd, swaddled in a pink blanket, and sleeping in my arms for 3.5 hours...just precious! I think it was more enjoyable for her as her teething has been especially bad for her and it was nice to see her at peace for more than just a handful of minutes...

That's wonderful. I love the new baby smell.

I watched a few babies tonight at the mall. They were so alert and watching everything around them. You could just see them soaking it all in. They are so much more intelligent than given credit for!

Some of the sweetest and most treasured moments of my life are with babies and children. There are too many abused and neglected children in the world (just one is too many) I am glad to know I am a part of a big thing here...

Enjoy it you know the 3.5 hour naps don't last forever. I enjoy watching my little girl play this last month she has discover that walking is the better way to get around and its fun now watching her start to interact with other children and her environment.

My most relaxing time is in the morning where I am nursing my little girl in bed. We are both awake but really not up yet and it is enjoyable to have that time before the stress of the day start in.
