What's your Simple Pleasure today, Wednesday?

Mine was sitting at the desk & hearing the dust buster turn on. It was Evan (my 5 yo) cleaning up the kitchen floor from everyone's mess at breakfast! I gave him a quarter!

And... I got to talk to Mom, uninterupted this morning for while.

What made your heart happy today?

I just spend more than an hour at the park with Mamaflemming and her kids. It is so nice to have an adult to talk to!

I gave Evan and his friend a bread and butter pickle stacker for a quick snack. After lunch I am making them play outside well Evan came in asking if he could borrow a pickle When I asked him why he imformed me that because they do have seeds that he wanted to plant them for a pickle tree poor little guy was so serious. I had to explain that it was once a cucumber.

Bonnie, Quarters go along way for the kids doing little chores like that around here too!

Happymom, I know what you mean, my gf and I took our kids out to the park and by the Lake on Monday it was so nice having another adult to talk too while still being with the kids.

I took Colin to Target to spend his last birthday gift card....Who knew a Ben-10 toy could make someone SO happy?! He carried it through the store smiling...and hasn't stopped smiling about it yet!

I've had a really good day today. I went to the doctor today and the baby is doing great. They scheduled my big ultrasound for the 24th so I could hopefully find out what the baby is before going to visit my family.

Then I ran by Target and found some onesies for .98 and a 3 pack of baby caps for 1.24!
Then I bought myself Chick Fil A for lunch on my way to the office.

My treat today was having almost 2 hours of quiet time while my youngest had a nap and my oldest watched a movie he rented yesterday at the library.

Great kid doing the dust buster on his own, I love that!! Must of given you a great big smile!!!

I gotr most the front yard mowed before it rained and my handles came off my push mower--still don't know how to do the rider, but I like the yard to look pretty so I push the front. My laundry is almost through and put away--Yeah me! And my bed is made and my dishes are put away, Oh for the pleasure part--sitting down here with some ice water and the ac blowing in my face!
