MORE than what I am getting, I think!!! Actualy, if I can get about 6-7 hours, I am usually good for most of the day. My problem is when one of the kids gets me up during that time, or dh snores (which is almost always!), that interupts the sleep, and I wake up EXHAUSTED!

I usually get 6-7 hours. I would like to get 8-9 hours, but in the past when I did I felt like crap. My mil sleeps 4-5, I wish I could do this then I could get more done after the kids go to bed!

I can function at 5 hours (but just)
I can manage at 6 hours
It's better at 7 hours
It's optimum at 8 hours
Anymore than 8 and I've slept too much and are groggy all day!!

Before Riley was born, I could easily sleep until 10 or 11am on weekends. Now unless I am sick or just ran myself ragged the day before, I am up pretty early. You know what I miss most? Napping on the weekends. Staying in bed, reading a good book and dozing on and off all day. Bliss!!

I need at least 8 hours of sleep to feel good. I don't know why, but I really need my rest!!!!!
My hubby can function on so little sleep. When I stay up with him on a regular basis it just kills me! I even take naps sometimes to catch up on my rest.

a good 8-9 for me. DH works until 10:30 most nights so after we put DS to bed, we spend time together. which is nice, but often times I don't end up in bed until 2 or 3 am and then I'm up at 7 or 8 with DS. 5-6 hours doesn't really set well with me. I can function but I find myself edgy, especially if it's like the 3rd or 4th day in a row that it's happened. I could sleep for probably 10 hours without interruption, but I've been able to do that all my life (back in HS I was so busy continually going full-speed ahead that I was lucky to get 4 hours of sleep a night, so I think I created the sleep-craving monster that I am!). DH doesn't understand. He gets 8 hours and he's awake. Can't go back to sleep. Only 9 if he's exhausted and sick with medicine in his system. Me, I could sleep for 10 or 12 and roll out of bed still wanting a nap. Speaking of nap... I'm taking one of those today!
