Most types are full of plenty of bad-for-you chemicals like aluminum and talc. Organic, friendly versions are available. KellynKay's mom says she does without pretty easily- which got me to start thinking... I wonder if I could. It's pretty hot and muggy here, though. I would definitely have to try it out in the winter months first. I tend to panic if I think I have forgotten to put on deodorant

Nope, I cannot do it...Not pulling a Matthew (Mccoughney) here. I don't care what's in it, I know that sounds bad, but I can't do it.

My husband can go without deordorant and unless he is really active or something he smells fine. I, on the other hand, am NOT capable of such a thing. I am a stinky person! I have used that deordorant stone before and that worked fine, except for really hot active days. I think I finally gave it up the summer I lived in Sacramento.

I cannot go without! No one would be happy! I wish I could but I'm just a stinky sweater! If there's a way to go without I would.

Well...my sisters hate me because they will be sweating rivers and I can be doing the same activity and be barely shiny or not breaking a sweat at all .

I guess I probably could go without it for most activities, I am just not a very sweaty person.

Now, working in the yard, working out, or doing other outdoor projects like building a deck for a long period of time in the direct sun, no, you probably wouldn't want to sit next to me at dinner. I would take a shower after doing something like that anyway...deodorant or no deodorant.

I used to never sweat before I had kids...thank you hormonal changes! Now, I wouldn't dare to leave the house without barricading my pits in deoderant. I wouldn't care if it turned my skin green- it's better than that nasty pit funk.
