The boys and I piled into my bed and played "under the covers ~ peek a boo" this afternoon and it was so great to hear them giggle so much!!!

Post, Post, Post!November/December Post the Most

Yesterday we adopted a Freecycle puppy. It was great to hear my boys explain that the puppy was free, that it had been abandoned with her brothers and sisters, and some nice family had picked up all of the puppies. They were so proud that they had a rescued puppy. Hearing that and watching them roll around in the grass with her was wonderful! Also, they named her Sparkle (my DH was a little dismayed by that, but I thought it was precious)!

I have more than 1 simple pleasure today!

I was so proud of Evan at his first music program they did 2 songs from the King and I. He was singing his heart out. I am sappy but I was choking back tears. Kids grow up so fast.

I was also proud of 3 kids in the other grades that I once babysat for They all made me smile
