My Simple Pleasure was Evan letting me patch his eye withOUT a fight. Today is the first day of doing it & I was prepared to break it up into a few sessions but he has kept it on for four hours straight without any argument!
My little one has entertained himself so well today!!! He colored, did playdough, then we went to story time and he has painted and watched a dvd he got from the library!!! No complaints at all!!! Yay!!
Watching my daughter chase butterflies in our back yard! I think I've mentioned this before but it really does make my day! We bought this house because of the back yard and it's worth every dime of the house payment to see her enjoying it!
Seeing Evan realize that the Healys are not as easy as he seemed to think, and completly agreeing that it will take LOTS of practice before he wears them as skates I still am anti Healy but gave in between him and dh

Does Evan have a lazy eye? I had to go through that as a kid it does suck. Plus I still had to wear glasses. Good luck to the both of you!
