I shop at Giant food stores and they have a good selection of organic produce. I get apples, grapes, bananas, spinach, broccoli, and other stuff too. For all those trying to get organic grapes, let me tell you, they go bad pretty quickly, they are alot squishier than pesticide laden ones so you need to get used to the squishy texture... but the apples are awesome!!!!

I try to buy as much organic as I can. Definitely fruits, veggies, meat, chicken, and dairy. On other items I carefully read the labels because the word "organic" is so overused nowadays. We also stay away from corn syrups, corn or soy fillers, the bad fats, etc.

Here are a list of organic stores that I know of.

Wild Oats Marketplace
Henry's Marketplace (parent company is Wild Oats)
Sprouts Marketplace
Whole Foods
Bristol Farms
Mothers Market

For online ordering I have used
Organic Food Home Delivery Nationwide Overnight by Diamond Organics

Some other resources for finding farm fresh or organic foods near you:
Eat Wild
Local Harvest / Farmers Markets / Family Farms / CSA / Organic Food

That's awesome that you guys are able to grow your own veggies! I wish I could do that. There are ways that you can make your garden more "organic". Don't use pesticides, use organic soil and fertilizer. And after your crops, keep the stems and leaves, etc. and make your own mulch with them to use for the following years fertilizer.

We do the baby food, formula, milk, pasta, eggs (free-range/organic), school snacks, really whatever I can find and afford, especially with coupons, BUT my new thing has been ketchup. I was reading online somewhere that you should use organic ketchup because the tomatoes are so concentrated. I just wanted to share that with you all. Wal-Mart does carry organic ketchup. It's pretty expensive though, but worth it!!

When I was working full time I bought alot of organic stuff, but now I can really only afford to buy organic milk and eggs. I just can't pay $6 for a pack of butter! Sometimes if they have Cascadian Farms or Kashi cereal on sale I will buy it. I am going to look for the frozen turkey from Cascadian Farms that someone mentioned. Does anyone know what brands of formula offer organic? I purchased Similac Organic formula, and while he could tolerate the regular Similac ok, he was very constipated while on the organic one! Any suggestions?

I grew up in the country, so when I go home, I stock up on everything that I can from my mom and grandmother - they both still have gardens and my grandmother lives by "it's not a home unless you have a chicken coop!", so she supplies me with eggs...the taste of eggs from the store can not compare with "farm" eggs.

We grow our own vegetables in the spring, so we can/freeze peas, corn, tomatoes, potatoes, etc....

Unfortunately, I live in the "suburbs of hell" as my good friend back home describes city life compared to country! I do have a small garden where when weather and time permits, I grow peppers and tomatoes.
