Where in Target did you find those? I have looked and looked... also considering the Laptop lunch but just not sure if my 1st grader is ready for the responsibility of hanging onto the lids and such!!

Hi, I'm new to the group, but I just recently purchased the laptop lunch box for my son (who LOVES it). I'm posting in response to KathrynHannah's post (see page 1). I've seen the Mabel's Labels on the Vegan Lunch Box blog site (that's what she uses) and thanks to your link, I've also checked out the Loveable Labels. There was also an ad for Stuck On You labls (made in Australia) in a recent Mothering Magazine email I received. This is their website: https://www.stuckonyou.biz/usa/. These products all seem so similiar (though the Lovable Labels and the Stuck On You ones most resemble eachother in style IMO). Has anyone used any of these or some combination of 2 - 3? If so, can you tell me which you prefer or pros and cons for them? Mabel's seems to be the least expensive option... I want to make sure all his bento stuff and his laptop lunch box things remain belonging to him and not lost!

Thanks!

"But if you do go with the waste free lunches, remember to label, label, label. I  labels. Before labels, I can not even tell you how many containers were lost. This year, we still have all the same ones. These are my favorites. They are dishwasher safe and have said on and look as good as the day we put them on after a whole year! Loveable Labels or Mabel's Lables [/color] :D"

My two daughters have been using their Laptop Lunchboxes for about three years now! I agree that the things are pricey, but I was buying a new lunchbag/box every year because they'd get so ratty, and I struggled to fit all my rubbermaid containers in them. Plus, now I rarely use ziploc baggies or foil. I figure we're contributing to the "trash-free lunch" goal of our school, AND saving money, and I like that.

The inner box and containers are dishwasher safe. I clean the thermal carrying case, inside and out, with diluted vinegar, and have even tossed the whole case in the washing machine on gentle cycle.

The containers help with portion control. I also pack them for day trips because they're easy for my girls to hold on their laps in the car.

Alright still kicking around the idea of buying this now that the lunchboxes I bought in August are completely falling apart!

Does anyone know if the water bottle fits inside the insulated cooler with the box??

I'm thinking of buying them for Christmas gifts but for 3 it's a big investment.

Yes, the water bottle that comes with the Laptop Lunchbox does fit inside the insulated, zip-up case. Inside, there is also a mesh pocket in which I put a cloth napkin and a freezer pack. And just so you know, some of the little Rubbermaid water bottles (with the straws) fit in there, too.

When I bought mine, one dd chose all periwinkle containers and the other chose primary colors. I think they come in pink now, too. I especially like the tiny sauce container with a lid that fits inside any of the other containers - it is perfect for ketchup, ranch dressing, peanut butter, pizza sauce, etc. and my kids just dip cheese sticks, bread sticks, carrots, apples etc. in them.
