The only time that we use bottled water is when we are on vacation & traveling. We have a Brita walter filter pitcher in our fridge. My office has bottled water so I drink that, because there the tap water doesn't taste that great.

Yes! I put mine in the dishwasher every night, then before bed, I fill it about 1/4 full of water, freeze it over night, add tap water in the morning, and cold water all day. I also like it because it measures out how much water I'm drinking. I drink two big bottles a day for my 8 glasses of water. We each have different colors so they are easy to tell apart. You can get them at any camping store if you have one around you.

One of my arthritis meds makes me immuno-suppressed. Plus if I contract even a mild case of food poisoning, I can end up with an awful arthritis flare. Since we're on a well, I'm a little hinky about about drinking water straight from the tap or refilling water bottles that we keep at home. My husband tends to leave half-filled water bottles scattered around the house. Since our well water has never been chlorinated, all that warm water in a nice moist environment just screams "BACTERIA!" to me. I can't bring myself to drink from the re-filled bottles.

So, for the time being, I'm a bottled water girl. Even if it is Aquafina tap water, I figure at some point it has gone through a chlorination process so it has some of it's bacterial load depleted.

We use a five gallon water container we fill up (from the tap) and put in the fridge and then just fill our Nalgene bottles. Also, my oldest daughter got two cavaties and the doctor said it was because all we gave her was bottled water vs. tap and there was NO flouride in it.

We refill water bottles from our tap and put them in the fridge. Our tap water tastes better than bottled...I guess it is just what you are used to

We have filtered water at home, it tastes fine...so that's what we drink. I do buy bottles sometimes for travel, sports for the kids etc

My Mother lives in a different state and her water is horrible! It tastes like algae. Ugh. It's really bad. She uses a britta filter which does help a lot but she does buy some bottled water for drinking and I don't blame her!

Thats what we we drink also bottled water that is reverse osmosis filtered. We also have a reverse osmosis system in our kitchen.

I don't drink out of plastic bottles anymore unless forced. I bought stainless steel bottles called "Kleen Kanteens" and we love them and use them for water exclusively. Our water is filtered and it really does taste better in stainless steel. We save $ and the environment. What gets me are the people that re-use plastic bottles - I tell them that the plastic is breaking down, they are drinking chemicals (carcinogenic ones at that) and they don't care, they think it's a myth. To each their own.
