I went to a yard sale today, and there were kids sellinglemonade. Normally I don't get drinks, but I was absolutly dying of thirst, so I took a peek... and saw that they had put the lemonade in used individual water and soda bottles... I was shocked, and politely declined, al the while the kids and the mother telling me that the bottles were lean and etc... but that just seemed a little much for me. It's one thing to do that for your own family, refilling bottles I mean, but another to sell them to others. Am I alone in this thought?

That is a bit much. I would've bought cups to use for it.

Oh, I would definately have to agree with you on this one. We have kids at yard sales selling coffee and lemonade all the time. But I have never heard of reusing bottles for there sale.

Yep. I would have refused unless new cups were used.

Yuck!! I too would have refused. We sell lemonade at our yard sales and I would never even consider putting it in used containers!

I definitely would never consider doing that. Of course I rarely drink the lemonade even if I do buy it. You just never know. But I wouldn't even bothered with refilled bottles.

I've seen a lot of moms buy cans of pop and the kids selling that. I think it does better because you know what you're drinking.

I think canned pop is a better idea too...you can get the generic Sam's Choice for mega cheap and sell them for $.50...and make $4 profit per 12 pack! People will drink anything when they're hot and thirsty enough!

I agree, it doesn't cost that much to buy cups from a dollar store. Most water bottles shouldn't get reused anyway even if they are washed because of the chemicals they are made out of can seep into your drink.

EWWWWWWW, thats just nuts. I don't even drink out of a bottle after my own KIDS have drank out of it. I don't care HOW clean it is.
