Does anyone save Christmas, Birthday cards, ect? or Do you do something else with them? I of course keep my kids cards but what about ones sent to you. Has anyone made something out of them?

I save all my cards. I keep them all in a large mesh bin. Most of the cards I've received over the years have handwritten messages in them. Sadly, a number of relatives and friends who gave me some of the cards have passed away. I'm so glad to have kept the cards they gave me. I even have a Valentine that my grandparents gave me when I was in grade school! It's a little beat up, but it's still readable.

Every once in a while, I'll read through the cards to cheer me up or make me laugh. I keep all cards I've gotten from my husband and children separately, but I still keep them and probably always will.

I can be pretty sentimental at times! LOL.

I don't keep mist of my cards unless it was meaningful, or had a special message. My husband is the same, I think. I imgine I'll save my kid's cards until they are old enough to descide if they want to keep them.

I send my xmas cards to a children's ranch somewhere out west. they recycle them into new cards and sell them.

When my kids were in elementary school we used to make gift boxes out of them to package gifts bought at our annual Santa's Workshop sale at the school.

I have cut some and made cute mats for framing pictures - those also were sold at Santa's workshop.

Those are all great ideas. I guess I am pretty sentimental too and would feel bad to get rid of them.

I don't save them unless they are really special (so like one every few years from my husband).

I have a box of cards my mom saved, including valentine's between her and my dad. I am going to scan them and recycle them.

I keep the beautiful cards and reuse them in scrapbooking and cardmaking. The ones with special written messages inside or from a special occasion such as our wedding I have in that particular photo album.

Most people anymore just sign their name at the bottom so I don't see a need to keep them for years. Although I do have some still from my 21st birthday because they were funny and it was a special day.
