My simple pleasure was watching the kids in their swimming classes today. All 4 of them have made such progress & the pride in their faces as they completed their final challenges. The teacher even got my Mr. Cautious (Aaron) to jump off the diving block. My other kids started clapping for him & walked over to give him a high 5 when he got out of the pool. It was pretty great to see them so proud of his accomplishment.

Mine today was watching my two coloring sidewalk chalk out front. A neighbor came over and gave them muffins they had baked (my kids are loved and spoiled by all our new neighbors) and Julia told them thank you, took a bite and told them "um thank you this is delicious, almost as good as my mommy makes them" It was so sweet!

I was thinking about this post today and honestly there were a lot of them...

my kids crawled in next to me this morning and told me it was a beautiful day

I was driving and saw a woodchuck (fuzzy things make me smile)

I was out by myself today and suddenly realised, I was out by myself today!!!!

I found a free exersize bike on the side of the road and was told to come back for a tread mill tomorrow....BIG SMILE

My son told me I was fun today

The mighty oak started out as a nut that held its ground.

Last night (8/19) we got together with friends who also have kids. The kids play and the adults talk. Nobody gets dressed up, and we just sit around have a drink, eat chips out of the bag, and throw a pizza in the oven. Nothing fancy, nobody trying to impress anyone... just good friends sharing enjoy each others' company.
