Good morning! Today we are hitting our bedrooms!

Task - go through all your sheets for each of your bedrooms. Take them all out of the closets and put them in three piles: keep, recycle and unsure. Put the recycle pile in your car trunk and plan to take it to Goodwill today. Put the unsure pile in a box and store it out in your garage or in the basement for six months. If you don't miss it after that time, take it straight to Goodwill - you obviously don't need it! Put the keep pile back in your closet nicely folded and organized. If you are ambitious, do blankets also!

According to organizing experts, you only need two sets of linens for each bed, so if you have more than that, they are just complicating your life by creating more work, taking up more space, etc.

I've actually already done this one, so I'm going to work on other aspects of my master bedroom - get rid of some of the "junk" on the dresser and go through the nightstand.

Have fun!

Pam

I have two sets for my bed and the baby's also, and just one for the couchbed and one for the air mattress.

Blankets are a whole different story... I will tackle that one.

I actually did this over the weekend! I went through my linen closet and I put the sheet sets in one of the pillow cases to keep everything together and organized. I also went through my towels and put some in my yard sale bin. Let's face it, how many sets of towels do you REALLY need!!! I also cleared the clutter from my end tables and dresser AND as a bonus....I DUSTED!!!! WOOHOOO!!!!

Man, I am loving these challenges!!! (Although, my house still looks kinda dirty!!! haha)
