The bags you describe are created and sold through the Superstore chain in Canada: Welcome to Canada's Superstore. They're made from recycled pop bottles (which is why they're depicted on the bag). Isn't that nuts? FABRIC from pop bottles! I live in Nova Scotia, and have 3 bags so far, I might buy more. I LOVE them! They're incredibly sturdy, they can handle a ton of canned goods. And they're so cheap to buy! I've never regretted buying them, that's for sure!

I posted a "want" AD on Freecycle and was given a bunch of brand new canvas shopping bags, some were even from my loccal supermarket ( they were brand new). It is worth a try. Good Luck!

I got some at Wal-Mart and some at Kroger. They were $1 at both places

Walmart sells cloth bags for .99cents. I found them by the checkouts, I love useing them better then paper or plastic. And it helps the enviorment!
