I'm trying to be more productive with my time. I feel like I'm on the computer too much so I been finding other things do with my time. I've started lifting weights so I can build more muscle. I also like doing word search puzzles.

There are some times I spend my time wisely but here lately I haven't. I too have been spending way too much time on the computer. Need to cut back & do other things.

I try to only get on when they are occupied, I have limited myself to mostly nights after they go to bed. But if I'm stressed, a quick 15 minute computer time does wonders on my attitude!

I feel the guilt as well, and I'm not on all that much. But it is a habit with me, which started when ds stopped giving up his nap 2.5 years ago. I'd allow him to watch an hour of tv, because despite my attempts at 'rest time' there was no way he was going to rest quietly in his room. He thought he was being punished! He still doesn't get it, and he's 5.5!

So I'd let him watch an hour of tv while I got on the computer. But I still feel guilty! Thankfully he's been sleeping later this summer (sometimes until 9:00!) and I can do my computing then. But, sheepishly, I admit that when he watches his shows, I'm back on again.

Now that he will be in K I'm hoping I can use that time to surf a bit while he's in school. Oh had to edit to add that my laptop has been broken since Dec. and we've yet to get it fixed. I used to do a lot more computing at night after he was in bed on the laptop so that is another reason (excuse).

Keeping a schedule, writing things down, having a list to check off, and keeping up a routine are the only ways I will stay motivated.
I wouldn't feel bad about some days not doing anything. We all need a break to re-energize. With all the work of being a SAHM we need breaks sometimes too so that we don't get burned out. Plus, you are pregnant so you need extra rest I know I should take me own advice.
