My SP is that Dad's trip up here was uneventful & he is now on a plane back to OH.

My simple pleasure was taking my kids to the grocery store and they were well-behaved

That's not a simple pleasure, that's a major accomplishment (at least in my house!!). Kudos to you!

I enrolled my daughter in to pre-school, which doesn't start until after Labor Day, but I put her in for three mornings (once a week) in the daycare where the pre-school will be held. just to try and get her use to it. I have worried about her all morning long, made myself ill, I went to pick her up at noon and she was having such a good time that I'm leaving her there until 3!

She patted me on the head and said, "I'll see you later, Mommy!"

Still haven't decided if I'm super excited that she did so well or heart broken that she did so well! No, I'm happy! Mostly!! 95% happy, 5% sad!

Also, I called about a writing job this morning, small, local paper and the editor remembered me from some past writing I had done and offered me a job! That is pretty exciting too!

Oh, Honey, I was married to him, so I know how good it gets when he's gone!
