What's made your heart happy today, Sunday?

My SP today was sleeping in until I woke on my own & then having my husband bring me a cup of coffee in bed. What a treat for me!

What's your Simple Pleasure today?

Going to my old church (the one my parents grew up in, were married in, I was baptised in, confirmed in, married in and had my children baptised in) and feeling like I was home again!

Since March, we have left church immediately after service every Sunday to get ready to go to McDonald's. After church this morning, however, we talked with several friends as we slowly walked out of church. It was such a wonderful blessing to be able to just talk with our friends and not be in a rush. And it was WONDERFUL to not have to go to McDonald's. I don't miss it a bit!

Earlier today, I was telling my 2yr old son that I loved him *THIS MUCH* and was extending my arms out as far as I could go. Well he giggled when I was doing it and I think he new that I meant.

Well then just 20 minutes ago my son comes up to me and he has this huge grin on his face, and then reaches his arms out to the side as far as he can make them go. Even though he can't say "I love you *this much* Mommy", I understood what he meant

I love him soooooooooooooooooooo much

Seeing my girls actually playing nicely on the floor with the legos without screaming, fighting, kicking, pinching or biting each other.......it lasted for a whole 10 mintues but it was the most peaceful 10 minutes we have had a loooong time!

We went to my dad's after church for brunch. He lives in the same town as my friend who had her baby August 5th. I visited with her and brought over some cute clothes I found at a some sales for her baby girl. I got to hold her pretty baby girl and visit for a couple of hours while dh and kids hung out at my dad's house. After that we went to a b-day party for DH brother. We had a nice, fun day without spending a lot of money.

We were supposed to have a picnic in the park to wrap up my mils birthday weekend. The weather didn't cooperate so we ended up having 12 of us going bowling It was a hoot to say the least
