I go to Trader Joe's once a month...I usually do not buy their produce because I need "family" size and most of their stuff seems packaged for smaller families...but I do bue their organic fruit spread, cereals are cheaper there, I love their flax seed tortilla chips, I buy their shampoo and conditioner, 3 buck chuck wine and granola bars and snacks for the kids.....they also have an awesome bar of soap there that is white and since I began using it my dd ezcema has neraly disappeared. Sorry my mind is blank at what it is called at this point ....I definitly think you have to watch the ads and decide what is best for you....I usually spend about 50-75 dollars a month there...

Ooh!! I miss Trader Joe's!!! I used to shop there all the time in Arizona..the closest one is about 90 minutes away!!!

I'm playing with the idea of just take a cooler down there and filling like 2 carts and stocking up for a year! I miss their salsa, spagetti sauce, refrigerated pie crust (yummy), homemade lasanga noodles, guacamole, chipolte-ranch fries, honey-nut cheerioes(they are so much better than kellogg's...they got me through my 1st tri-mester of pregnancy)

So many good things! I can go on forever!!! Good times! I love food!

They have a great price on real maple syrup, for folks reading that other thread. We get our real maple syrup there instead of at Costco. Their kashi cereals are usually well priced. Not big on their produce - not as good as whole foods.
