to the silverware drawer! I open mine and- ding, ding, ding! It's the Daily Double!

Today we are taking out TEN, not five, unwanted items from this drawer.

First, let's look at all the plastic/disposable silverware hanging out in that drawer. Spork, anyone? Let's start with those. Take out five of your sporks and put them right into recycling. Don't have five sporks? Tackle the plastic spoons, knives and forks. Pick five and out they go.

Now, let's look at all the little plastic packets of soy sauce, sweet and sour sauce, ketchup, possibly salt and pepper packets... Are these like old friends? Have they been there so long that it's hard to say goodbye? Or are you planning a big dinner party where each guest can have her own packet of soy sauce right next to her water glass and linen napkin? Grab five and toss.

OK- you did it! In under five minutes you cleared out not five but ten items. Good job!

I did my drawer and it looks great now. How many little kids untensils do you need/ I wasn't ready to get rid of them. but I did get them out!!!

Yes, I'm afraid that all the Take-n-Toss sporks in my silverware drawer (the ones that used to be there, anyway) have pushed me over the edge
