Easy, Basic H2. It's $11.50 and it will last you at least 6 months. I've had my bottle since November and it's not even half way. You use 2 drops in 16 oz to clean windows and mirrors, and 1 1/2 tsp in 16 oz to degrease! And the best part is you don't have to use anything else like Windex, or fantastic or anything. I use it for everything, floors, table, greasy dishes, laundry stains!!! Woohooo I am a Get Clean addict!

I heard something one time about using brewed tea as a foot soak and it'll kill the virus. Does anyone know the specifics of it? He's tried athletes foot spray but says that it burns.
I get my castille soap either at walgreens or the dollar store. 3 bars come wrapped in clear plastic and the bars say Castille soap or "jabon de castilla" on top.

My husband had a foot fungus and it was hurting so I went searching the internet for a natural solution. I found a site that had information about a few drops of lemon balm essentail oil(Health Food Store, etc) that was suggested by a foot doctor. We tried it, the fungus tried black almost instantly and it stopped hurting. Other remedies took weeks. Also soaking in apple cider vinegar is good for foot fungus and tea tree oil. Also Vitamin E taken internally will help soften the skin.

Hi Everyone~

I love reading all of your ideas and recipes. What about a green, all-natural disenfectant cleaner for kitchen countertops, sinks, etc??? I guess I'm worried about cleaning up all the yucky germs from raw meat, etc....

Vinegar should work just fine to disinfect. Here is what I found on how it compares:

5 percent solution of vinegar—the kind you can buy in the supermarket—kills 99 percent of bacteria, 82 percent of mold, and 80 percent of germs (viruses).

Does anyone know what would take pink lip gloss outta of the carpet? My daughter rubbed a bunch on our off white carpet in the living room in front of the couch of all places! My husband is not happy about that. And I've tried 2 cleaners which didn't work so far.

Another thing- does anyone know what would clean marker off a wooden door?

Thanks!

I don't know about carpets, but I have dealt with marker on wood.

Permanent markers are a dye that in order to remove, you are likely to remove the wood finish as well. I have accepted that in order to get the marks off. I have removed inks and stuff with nail polish remover. Not green but pretty effective. If the stain and finish are affected, I use a scratch marker you can get at hardware stores. It is basically a marker in various wood brown shades. So you are removing a marker that shows and replacing it with one that is not as visible.

I cleaned my brass candlesticks yesterday with stright ketchup. Worked great. First, I stuck them in the freezer for awhile. the few wax drips came off then I took an old toothbrush and ketchup. I stopped before it looked too "new". Rinsed and wiped dry. Looks good.

I use hydrogen peroxide to disinfect the kitchen counters and sponge.

I make sure to keep a few extra bottles in the house.

Thank you Ladies for the recipes! I have been using vinegar and water to clean my kitchen and bathroom floors for some time now and I love that it is inexpensive and GREEN. Now if I can only convince my husband on the rest. He complains that my organic glass cleaner does not work as well as Windex.

I looooooove saving the environment AND my wallet!!!
