Does anyone know that best places to find these ingredients? I'm just getting started making green cleaning products and not quite sure where to find the things I need.

You don't have to look too far. The best cleaners are baking soda and vinegar and they are readily available at the grocery store. I buy mine in bulk at Sams Club, and save quite a bit that way.
You can buy castille soap (I use Dr. Bronners) at the Health Food store. Mix a paste with baking soda and castille soap and you have a great soft scrub style cleanser.

Thanks for all the great recipes ladies! I'm having a green party for my moms group and was hoping everyone could make a green cleaner at the party to take home with them. Now I just need to choose!

I have always been so afraid of keeping Drano type products around because they are so toxic.
Clogged drains?

If there is a lot of standing water try to bail some of it out. Dump 1 cup baking soda down the drain and then 1 cup vinegar. It will bubble and foam like a middle school volcano project! Wait for it.........most of the time that will work. You can add more if needed. If it's not working than you have too much standing water diluting it. Take your plunger and plunge the drain up and down, make sure you have a good seal. If it's the kitchen sink have somebody hold the plug over the opposite side or your not going to make contact with the clog. I have a small plunger in my kitchen just for this but did use my toilet one a couple of times.

Hanging your clothes in the sun will remove stains. Also, leaving your wash out overnight on a very cold frosty night will whiten and remove most stains from your laundry.
I use baking soda and lemon juice on my white cast iron kitchen sink. It removes stains better than anything else I've tried.

I don't know if this was posted yet but my favorite trick is:

Squirt some shave gel (just the cheap 'ole Barbasol will do) into a microfiber cloth and wipe on bathroom mirrors, making sure to get rid of any streaks. This helps keep your mirrors from fogging up after showering....

Rub a little baby oil on your soap dish to keep the soap from sticking....

I do use a lot of 50/50 vinegar and water, vinegar is a disinfectant as well as works wonder on smells. If fact if you have ever left your laundry in your machine and it smells mildew like just put in 1/2-1cup of vinegar and run it again and it will take that smell out. Also a friend refinishes wood floors and tells me that's what he recommends to clean the floors.

I also found that if you have stains on your pans/oven..meat tenderizer. You take a 100% cotton cloth, dappen it, dip it in the meat tenderizer and rub the pan/oven...takes grease and stains right off leaving pans looking brand new.

I also purchase some cleaners.. I used to use an expensive organic cleaner but now there are so many available and at low prices. My favorite is "holy cow" they have a pink all purpose, you can even use it on carpet or clothes and a blue that is for the windows - which is alright but not my favorite. They sell it I noticed at walgreens now but the price is much higher, I usually buy it at Walmart for about $1.60..can't beat it. I noticed that our superwalmart had it but regular did not..not sure why. I was told that Value was a dealer of it when I called the 800 number and apparently there is a large green cleaner that dilutes..haven't found it yet! I have also tried targets brands and they seem pretty good and clorox naturals is pretty good too.
