Awhile back I purchased a flat of Perrier at Costco. After drinking the Perrier, dh began filling the glass bottles and re-using them. You can wash them in the dishwasher without fear of plastic leaching (or warping) from the heat. He travels during the week, so fills about 7-10 of them and it's worked out well for us.

I have a harder time b/c I am often with my kids and fear they will drop one somewhere! I can't tell you how many times I've dropped a plastic bottle of water in the garage or parking lot or wherever!

Does anyone else re-use glass bottles? Just wondering.

I get the Italian Soda at Whole Foods once in a while, and it comes in a large glass bottle. I've been keeping them and storing water in them, for emergencies, like if the water doesn't work or something.

YES! I use them to bring tea, milk and juice to work since it everything tastes better out of glass bottles and seems to get colder.

I also reuse plastic bottles for a short time as well.
