Here are a few items to consider... how many of these do you realistically need? I'm not sure- I have been mulling it over since Granny told me I have enough socks to last a hundred years (but I truly enjoy my Christmas sock colletion from Old Navy and am not giving them up).

Bras?

Socks?

Pairs of underwear?

Is three bras enough? A week's worth of underwear? Who knows?

I probably have two dozen pairs of athletic style socks, not sure because I never fold them since they are all identical. 2 regular bras, 3 sports bras. Probably about 10 pairs of underwear. I do my laundry at least once a week so this is enough to get me by. I could cut back on the socks.

bras, I say 7- but could probably get by with 5 or 6 I suppose
Socks, 10-12 pair of white, three or four "dressy" black, brown or blue ones
Underwear, 10 is fine for me (although I do have a few more for those longer vacations)

I know others who can get by with less, I just know that having a few more bras means that they'll last longer because each of them gets washed a little less.

Bras - i get by on 3 but i wash a laod of laundry everyday.
underwear - i have 14 pair because I prefer to change them 2 x a day
socks - 6 or 7 pair

I have a whole clothingl list of bare bones items we need. i purged my closet to go along with the list. I need to change a few things but I'll post it if anyone is interested. It really cleaned out my closet because I wasn't even wearing most of what i had. Now when I get a new item i get rid of an old one.

Bras: I have 7 white and beige bras, and 2 black ones

Socks: I think I have about 10 pair....will need some new ones soon...will go on my Christmas list though

Undies: I think I have about 10, maybe 12 pair.

I like having two weeks worth for when I have to travel. I wear bras twice before washing and socks once so for me.

Bras I have three "Main" ones that I wear for "everyday use"...but then about 2-3 "Fancy" ones for those special occasions. (or when I need a black bra to go with a black shirt )


Underwear I have tons...and two piles..."everyday use" and "that time of the month use"


Socks ~ I don't really have any, 2-3 pairs maybe....I am always either bare foot or in flip flops....(gotta love Florida)

I have 2 regular bras and one strapless

maybe 10 pairs of socks

underwear, that's another story...lots....maybe 20-25 pairs.
