I helped dd clean out her room today. Not just surface cleaning, but looking under the beds and in the desk drawers kind of thing. We got 3 big trash bags to donate, and one big bag to throw away! Yahoo!!

P.S. I still wonder where ALL of this stuff comes from!

I could take a bag of crap out of my dd's room every week if I wanted too. I don't know how it seems to multiply like that!!

Good job on the decluttering!

I know what you mean -- where does it all come from? We are still in negotiations about stuffed animals right now! DS has way too many and doesn't play with them, but he won't give them up yet!

Congratulations, Kim, you had a great declutter day!

Don't you love it when you get it all done? DD just went through her stuff and has 2 huge bags of trash and one to donate. I need to do all our closets.

Way to go, Kim! :happy dance:

I decluttered my dd's room so much that I actually got rid of her darn desk! That thing was loaded with tons of paper that dd had generated (apparently my dd doesn't believe in a paperless society ). The actual, necessary stuff in her desk fit into two containers, so I decided that she really didn't need a desk. It's outta here!

I had DS clean his room out and have a trash bag of toys and books to freecycle. ITA with where does it all come from. I have finally learned that it is best to get him a couple of big presents for b-days and Christmas rather than a bunch of little toy items which end up lost, broken or not played with.
