Having just moved to a new state, I had all my clothes packed up for about two weeks. I kept out 3 pairs of capris pants and four shirts- that was all. I have to report that I didn't even miss all my other clothes (except that I did get tired of wearing the same pair of sandals every day). I was able to mix and match enough that I never felt like I was wearing the same thing over and over. Now I have all my clothes back, and it all seems like so much!

I've been wanting to clean out my closet for a while now. I find that I really only wear the same things all the time anyhow. Yet, I have a ton of clothes. I figure I will wait till after I have this baby because I don't know what is going to fit me when it is all said and done.
I have so many different things in my closet that it is so confusing!!
Maternity clothes, work clothes, dress-up clothes, casual clothes, fat clothes, skinny clothes.
I've given up on a lot of the skinny clothes though! Those skinny pants from college are NOT going to fit ever again!!!!!

I just moved recently too and did the same thing. When I finally got around to putting my clothes put away in the closet and drawers I found myself thinking "I didn't know I had so many clothes"

Way to go! I also have way to many clothes. I am trying to scale down my closet but I have a hard time letting go of clothes. I have started going into my closet every few days and picking out 1 or 2 items that I have not worn in a long time and pulling them out. It is a slow process but I hope to eventually have a simplier wardrobe.

I know perfectly well that I wear the same 5 shirts over and over, but I just don't know what to do with the other 25! It seems like a waste to just give away that many clothes I've spent money on.

What a great observation. On my stay at home days - I tend to wear the same things over and over too. I always fear someone will notice when I do this at work. However, when I stop to think about it - I never remember what anyone else was wearing at work.

I don't have a lot of clothes. As an example, what I have out for pants (the shorts have been put away) is:
2 pair of hunting/dirty work pants
2 pair of sweats
2 comfortable everyday pants
2 make my butt look good jeans
1 dress slacks

I know I need to get rid of alot of things I don't wear either. It would make my closet and dresser look alot nicer.I always have this fear of needing some new shirts or pants and not having the money to buy them and not having anything.I know I am a weird-o!
