I know that there are alot of homemade cleaning recipeds on this board but do any of you buy all natural cleaners. I have used the method ones from target and they are ok. Any recomendations of products you use would be great!

I use 7th generation dish soap
Dr Bronner's castile soap
I also don't make my own laundry soap, I am using Purex Naturals right now, but I don't know how natural it really is.
I have also used Method products. I do like their grapefruit all purpose cleaner, smells yummy!

I have used two Method products: the lime all-purpose cleaner, and the eucalyptus tub/tile cleaner. Love them both!! But I don't get to Target all that often. I've been making my own cleaning products, but if I were to visit Target again I might be tempted to by the Method products again!!!

I am new to "living green," although I am trying my best to make improvements. I've recently tried the new Pure Essentials line for Tide, Downey, and Bounce that I really like. I really like for my laundry to smell nice, especially those bath towels, so this product is really great for me. I get the natural/green benefits and my laundry still smells heavenly- like white lilac!

I have tried a number of the Method products too. The Almond scented wood cleaner smells so yummy that my dog licks the furniture!

Though, I have to agree that some of the Method products are just OK, but I like that they don't have the strong toxic fumes.

I still use regular All and Tide in my laundry, I have not done the switch in that department.

I'm going to have to look for that almond scented wood cleaner, that sounds great!

I think making the changes little by little is the way to go. It would be a big job to make the changes all at once. After I tried the sample, I noticed that the Pure Essentials Tide and Bounce were the same price as the regular Tide and Bounce, so I went ahead and switched. Easy enough, so I figured why not?

I use Simple Green. I have a large bottle from Costco but that is almost used up. I've been mixing a few "recipes" of my own and I think they work just as well. I haven't mopped the floor with the homemade ones yet and I do like the Simple Green for that.

i use all method cleaning products they are just a little more pricey but not enough to make me not get them and they work sooo good. My kids have asthma and allergies nad I have noticed they seem to not to be bothered by the products, but I still make the vingar and water formula to clean. I don't make laundry soap, with my kids I am afraid I'll make there skin worse.7th generation for dishsoap and dish washing detergent. You can get them at target and they are really not much more than the others.

I like Method, which I usually buy at Target but they also sell it at Linens n' Things so I can use a 20% off coupon. Everything I have bought in that line smells wonderful. Trader Joes is another brand that I also like to buy. For clothes, I buy Kirkland (Costco) brand of free & clear laundry detergent. I don't use store bought fabric softener because of the residue/chemicals and use vinegar or baking soda instead (I buy the huge bottles/bags from Costco).
