What is your simple pleasure for today, Friday 1//12???


Mine is my family. After starting working in a center for developmentally disabled adults, I realize how lucky I am to have them all healthy, even if they do drive me nuts sometimes!

~Happiness is a large family~

Going to the pumpkin patch and finding out that even the corn maze is FREE!!!! We needed some free family fun time.

Plus all our pumpkins and squash were less than $10.

DH and DS interrupted my personal reading time to come cuddle with me and tell me how much they loved and missed me. I put dinner in the crockpot, so it was "feed yourself whenever you want" night.. AHHHHHH - gonna do THAT more often! Oh, and MIL took DS for an hour or so in the evening and DH and I got to watch the previous night's episode of The Office uninterrupted. An hour of no screaming or whining - it was priceless!
