I don't tend to stress about Christmas. We really only buy gifts for my kids and my mother and father in law.

I have my Christmas picture cards ordered. So they will be mailed out early this year. I even wrote up a little Christmas letter but it may just be too darn boring.

I am going to a Cookie exchange on the 8th and those will go to my neighbors. I won't have to bake. Is that bad????

I'm not going to put all my decorations out this year. I'm going to keep it simple.

That's all i can think of.

Before last year we went to five houses on Christmas day plus did Christmas at home in the morning with just us. It was insane. So last year we tried something new. We did not go to his grandparents -they are not close at all- and combined his mom, sister and brother for a Christmas Eve dinner. That worked out awesome. Then we quit going to my grandparents, instead combined them with my parents. Before we would go to my grandparents and everyone was there, my siblings and their families and my parents, then we would go to my parents later in the day, stupid I know. So now we just do it all at once. It was so nice to go to ONE house Christmas Eve and ONE house Christmas day and we were DONE! Yea!

As for shopping, we always only buy for the kids, our four kids and our five neices and nephews. But we waited until like December 15th to start shopping. Such a stressful 10 days before Christmas. This year we are buying one or two gifts every single week when hubby gets paid. We started several weeks ago so have several things already. Very less stressful!

I am not doing letters this year. I will probably still do cards and if I do I will do those in early December.

I may just give gift baskets to everyone. It's one stop shopping and I've seen enough variety to fit personalities of everyone in my family. My SO's mom is going to love the 1800 flowers gift basket by Paula Deen b/c she loves food network. paula deen gift baskets

I've been sewing since October for Christmas! We each draw a name and are to fill a stocking for that person and exchange on the holiday. This year we are going to spending the Christmas holiday here at home with just ourselves as lastyear the Christmas holiday was too stressful and dramatic for me and threw me into a flare for over a month. I'm hoping my sister that moved away this year will be able to travel here for the holidays.

Otherwise my dh and I will be cooking our Christmas dinner together and the girls and I will be baking all the treats!
