Has anyone seen the show Neat? It comes on Discovery Home and FiTV. I love it. It has really changed my life. It's similar to Mission Organization or Clean House. The host is a professional organizer and she comes in and assesses the situation. Then, they deal with the problem. What I really, really, really like about the show is that they don't just clean it all out and give you a clean house, she makes the people deal with their problems. They talk about why their house got that way or why they have so much stuff. Usually, it's something I can relate to. Like one show a girl had so many clothes, so many pieces of make up, shampoo, etc. Why? Because she'd grown up poor and was afraid she'd not have something she'd need. I could completely relate to that.

I highly recommend that if you can, you watch this show. It really has helped me purge a lot of things that have been weighing me down.

Another fav is Clean House. It's very similar and a lot more light hearted with more humor. Neat is only 30 minutes so I can squeeze it in a lot easier!

I LOVE Clean House, so I'm glad you mentioned Neat. I'd never heard of it. Sounds like my kinda thing. I always analyze the people on Clean House anyway. I'm sad they got rid of Linda Coopersmith though, and the yard sale guy. The new girl doesn't do her homework and the yard sales have been lame since she started.

I agree. I'm not as excited to watch it without Linda and Allen. I want Linda's book (because I want, want, want) so I can learn to fold clothes like she does. I thought Allen was cute! :D

I watched a show where the husband had died. It was very sad and I got misty but the chemistry was gone. Is that man the new organizer? I missed the beginning with the intros.

There's no more "organizer". They call that guy the go-to guy? He seems to provide some special gift to the family or something, I don't know. Allen was great. He knew the value of things and didn't let people low-ball him right off the bat.

I saw that episode with the husband who passed away. It was pretty sad, and even moreso because Linda was charismatic where this new girl is cute and fun. Linda would have gotten to the mom or kids in a nicer way. Grr! Well, I still love my lazy ol' Niecy Nash and Mark the designer. He hasn't messed a room up yet.

Haha! Did you see the one with the Dragons? (I think that was their last name.) It was a mom who was a judge and a college aged daughter. The mom just couldn't be satisfied. She was unwilling to get rid of things. During the garage sale, she was sneaking things out. Sometimes that looks staged when people do it but she was literally running down the street with some hideous lamp, to hide it in her car. When they did the reveal, she practically cried and said her living room made her want to vomit. I thought everything looked nice but she HATED it. It made for a good show but I felt bad for everyone involved, including her daughter, because they knew from the beginning that she was going to hate it.

I think Niecy Nash is hilarious! She can say anything and it's funny!

I don't know which one I saw, but this one lady just couldn't be pleased for anything. Actually it was the one that used to be featured in one of their commercials with the mom crying about grandma's Christmas ornaments. Well, when she came in she was completely dissatisfied. I was like, why do these people come on the show? You know what it's about, why put yourself through it, you know? People and their junk!
