I was thinking about this more.....I don't have a problem with children sharing a bath at the same time. My boys take baths together. Or a mother taking a bath with a young child. The water is warm and clean when they get in together. What i feel i couldn't do is share a bath with a grown up. If they were to get out of the tub i could not jump right in. The stink, privates and hair just gross me out. I would need to get the dirty water out and have hot water for myself.

Now in the situation that it's all i had.....of course i would have to. Boy am i glad that is not the case.

My girls share bathwater since they get a bath at the same time. I would not like to share bathwater with another adult.

No, I wouldn't reuse bath water, not even after my son who's only 4. He's in play action mode all day, except when he takes a nap. He sweats even in the winter. So the grease & grime gets left behind in the tub and I don't think adding hot water to the tub after he's done does anything except create a bigger pool of dirty water.

We had to do this when we were little and my sister always peed in it before I got in! I know she did--and if you are reading this you know who you are--LOL. My kids did when they were litttle but now my dd showers and dsd takes baths. DD wouldn't even share a towel with anyone let alone water. Shes very picky.

We do showers because it is easier for me to stand than lean over the tub for four kids.

However, I would not share bath water. I do not like baths. Yuck! Sitting there in your own filth! Yuck! I will sometimes take a bubble bath to relax but then shower to wash.

I'll conserve water in other ways. I will not bathe in someone else's nasty bath water! Plus, I can't make myself sit in a tub! It just grosses me out! Shower only for me please!

I do this with my kids but I don't know if I would do it myself!
