Thanks for posting that article. I'm considering hiring a cleaning lady for when I go back to school, and this gave me some food for thought.

That would be me!!! Cleaning for hours before the cleaning lady shows up. I don't mind the dusting and washing floors, it's all the extra picking up I have to do and with kids in the way makes things even harder. I also have to wash my floor on my hands and knees. I just think it works better than a mop. My sister came over on my birthday to watch the kids and thought she would help with dishes. Drove me crazy after. Nothing was put in its place. She was also going to wash the floor and my kids told her "NO mom doesn't like anyone else washing her floors." There are just some things that I prefer done a certain way. So for me, someone to watch the kids while I clean would benefit me more than a cleaning lady.

Well, I have had a cleaning lady in the past when I was recovering from my surgery and it was NOT as hard as this article implies.

It definitely DID help me simplify my life!
