It didn't make a difference with my kids either. I so wish my 3.5 yo DS was potty-trained!!! He's being so stubborn!!

Actually, using cloth diapers does help children potty train faster. I have worked in a toddler classroom for 3 yrs now and we only use cloth. Those children used cloth from birth and they were mostly all potty trained by 2 or sooner!! Both my older children used cloth and were PT by 18 months-2 years. We currently use cloth with my 4 month old girl and she hates being wet...this happened with my other girls and that's why they PT easier!! I wouldn't go back and forth with paper and cloth diapers thougha and BTW Pull ups are a waste of $$$. Get the cloth underwear instead....Nikky Brand ones work very well!!

I think it just depends on the kid. My youngest dd self potty trained at 18 months, just because she wanted to, my oldest dd was 26 months and my son was 30 months. My ds also self trained. All were in disposable diapers but the different ages were just based on their own personalities.

We are working at potty training now. So far my baby is the only baby in my mommie group that is showing an interest in potty training and she is the only baby that is using cloth diapers.
