True our False, for those of you who have used cloth diapers, is it easier to potty train your child?

Hmmm, adding to the above questions - has anyone switched from diapers to cloth on a toddler to help with training? I just hate paying for diapers!!!!!!!!!!

I totally think my youngest potty trained early cause of the cloth!! she hated to be wet!! *she potty trained at 15 months* oldest dd would have been by 2 but she got a bladder infection and that set her back cause she also had bladder reflux!!

I have 3 boys and used cloth with one adn the other two used Dispos.....My cloth baby potty trained himself at 18 months. My disposible boys were trained by 3+. i am not one to push the issue, but one of my boys I just had to put my foot down and say "no more diapers."

From experience..YES!

My oldest dd was in sposies and potty trained with LOTS of mama help at 34 months!

My youngest dd was in sposies til I convinced dh when she turned 2...and she went full on to cloth and potty trained herself at the age of 27 months old.

Yes! My oldest didn't train until he was 3 1/2, when I switched to cloth full time. My other 2 boys have potty trained right at 2, my 3rd was peeing in the toilet at 16 months. We'll see with baby girl, she's 11 months now, and HATES being wet or poopy. I have a feeling she'll train fast .

I believe some kids do PT early if they are in cloth cause they dont like being wet... My DS is 12m old and already showing interest in the potty... Though I know he is not "ready" for it, he will let me know.. When I go to the potty he goes and sits on his with his pants down.. One day he will probably pee in it... Till then he will wear his cloth on his bum.

I think cloth can help. But some depends on the child, personality, readiness and such. My oldest didn't until she was almost 3. But my 3 middle did about 2 1/2. I think being in cloth helped them and having peer pressure of sorts did as well.
