We did a small purge last week, They all put 5 items in a box and we brought it to Goodwill. Granted some of the stuff was McDonalds toys. But at least they were willing to give it away. This week I am cleaning the basement and moving all of my parents stuff to the store room (We moved into their house and they moved out so their stuff is still here) So that now their toys will be down there and their rooms will be toy free....I hope.

On thurs the Vietnam Vet of America will be picking up lots of bags of everything. I already have a grocery bag of barbies and a large garbage bag full of toys ready to go. I have a bag of purses and some clothes. I also just gave away about 6 large bags of items 2 weeks ago.

Well, we did it last night. We cleaned the playroom. I was so dreading it, but for the very first time, my kids didn't get mad at me. My oldest son was even very helpful and willing to get rid of things. Which surprised me because he is my pack rat, keeps EVERYTHING! My youngest daughter hugged about six baby dolls (we still have like 15!) and told them she loved them so much and would miss them, but they were going to play with other girls who didn't have baby dolls. She almost cried! Very cute and sad. All of the tubs (barbies, babydolls and cars) now close with a little room inside. The toy boxes all close. And we got rid of the spiderman tub, by getting rid of some of them and putting the rest in the toy box. We got rid of all of the games missing any peices and cleaned both closests. The room looks very nice.....for now! Am I dreaming hoping that it stays clean?
