Just curious what people think makes a home cozy and comfy
some of my fav...

Clean and warmed sheets
clean house
candle light
fires on a cold night
coming home to a good home cooked meal
soft blankets on couch
the smell of brewed coffee and popped popcorn

A lived in looking house. I could never live in a house that looked like a show room (not that that could ever happen anyway )

I like a Clean house too- - Organized Chaos- I guess.

Warm blankets on the couch
Cinnamon spice in the air, especially this time of year
Nice clean bedroom with clean linens
Everyone home, eating dinner together
Organized and clutter-free everywhere, although this is rarely the case with a three month old to care for!
A clean kitchen
Hot cooked meals

A home that can be lived in. There is not a room in my house that can not be used. I am not a big showroom house person.

Accessories - pictures, etc.

My sister and her husband are declutter FREAKS. I mean they got their space down to just a few pieces of furniture and that is it. I think they still managed to keep one framed print over their couch in the living room but that's all. Their house was clean but there was no personality at all.

Yes candles I looooooove the warm feeling it gives me.And fresh baked apple pies.

Family pictures displayed (I am HUGE on pictures).

Best of all...that the people in it are happy...that can make even the coldest places seem cozier

Candles, a soft blanket (throw) on a chair or the back of the couch,
Plants, some toys here and there, if you have kids. a cozy home will be one that is LIVED in, clean but not a sterile clean one! Light from the windows.
