Especially around the holidays, the best way I've found to both "smell up my house" (without chemicals) AND add moisture to the air, is keeping a pot of simmering "whatever" going on the stove. I like to put orange peels, lemon peels, cinnamon, pumpkin pie spice, nutmeg, whole cloves, or whatever spice in the water and just simmer it. Kills two birds with one stone!!
what a great idea! Can I do this in a teapot? Do you just put the stuff right in the water? Like, can I just sprinkle cinnamon into the water? Wow. Great idea!

What is the Cinnamon Bark?? Is that a cleaner? Or a dish soap?

I'll have to look around more next time.
The Cinnamon Bark is a kitchen counter cleaner (& it worked fabulous on my microwave which was desperate for cleaning) - it smells so good. I didn't see the Cinnamon available in anything else (except their scented rings ...).

I use a lot of essential oil's, if you have a potpori burner, you add HOT water to it and a few drops of oil, light it and your whole house will smell like the oil, just keep adding water as needed.
Also tea tree oil is a great dissinfectant, add a few drops to water and use, it's also great for healing cut's , but NEVER use it stright always add to water.

I am really really out of the green loop here- I am sorry

Are Method cleaners green??

I have seen them at target!! I always stick to my Lysol and Mr. clean products so I never look at anything Different.
I need to have a Discentfectant cleaner , I am getting sick of the strong smells though

I am A Scent Lover-
If there is a Product thats Healthier, smells goof and it discenfects - I want it!!

Tell me more about Method!

I am getting alot of Target GC for christmas too

Thanks for the pictures! I didn't know what they were myself. In fact when you first started this thread I thought that you had fallen off the green wagon ! I'll have to check out Target next time we're down that way.

We're having company later and I splurged on some Method Almond Floor cleaner. It did a great job and smells wonderful. I'll go back to vinegar when it is gone but it is a nice switch.

YAY!! Good for you!! I know it hurts (the pocketbook) to spend $$ on cleaners when vinegar is just as good (and so cheap), but I think it's good to step out of the box sometimes. Next time I'm at Target I'm going to look around for more cleaners. I've never seen the Almond floor cleaner before!! I think maybe I'll water down my cleaners a bit to make them last longer.
