Interesting article. I never thought about some of the points like that. The effects of recycling are not quite what I thought!

My family has decided to have a second hand or handmade only gift clause. I think it is pretty economically and ecologically friendly to shop thrift stores and repurpose what you already have. We were really upset over christmas when we realized that alot of the gifts we had given each other were from china, where the air is so bad from industrial pollution that smoking doesn't do anything to increase risks of lung cancer
