Although I'm not a big "no plastic person", I am looking to make a healthy switch to stainless steel and while looking at the sports section at Target today I saw that Thermos is making a stainless steel sippy cup! What a great statement to include the toddlers and preschoolers in this plastic issue!

I think that is great!!! However, make SURE it is stainless steel INSIDE and out. I ran around for weeks to find our canteens/sports bottles and tall large beverage mugs I use as cups for ds. It needs to be SS INSIDE and out. The one I have IS a Thermos brand, but it was extremely expensive ($16 for the large tall beverage mug) and it had tags on the outside saying that it was ss on the inside as well as the outside. There was also a leaflet inside that stated this as well. I saw other Thermos brands that were stainless on the outside but NOT on the inside, so use caution here before you buy!!! In all probability they will be All SS but just be careful! I love drinking out of ss!!

I've been looking at the Klean Kanteens online. They are a bit pricey. How are the ones at Target? SS inside and out? and price. Really cool if it is SS and affordable! I'm glad more companies are "catching on" to the idea that plastics aren't all that good. Don't get me wrong, they have their place! Thanks for the info! Keep em coming girls!

Target has them online, the Foogo brand. And actually you can save 10% right now on the 7 oz sippy. I haven't tried it yet, but plan on buying one. I especially like the 12 oz with a straw! Hope this helps.

7 oz Sippy - $13.49
7 oz Sippy with handles - $14.99
12 oz with straw - $14.99
