I keep thinking I need a cute key hook by the door for our family keys. Right now my husband and I just keep each set on the kitchen counter tops. I'm trying to cut back on some of the clutter in our house and thought it would be good to find an organized method for the keys.

So, where do you keep your keys?

My keys are in my purse. My dh keeps his in his pockets or on his dresser. My dd keeps her's in her backpack and so does my ds.

That's what we use .. only it's not very cute . My dh just screwed some small hooks into the inside of the front hall closet, one for each person and we keep our keys there. I don't lose them this way and I always know where they are.

We have a little flower pot that my oldest DS painted when he was in kinder. Its on our countertop in the kitchen.

I bought a little shelf at Target with hooks. It has three hooks under the shelf that look more like they could hold a jacket...but they aren't too big for a key ring. Anyway, we hung it by the front door and it works great...as long as you don't get distracted (chasing a 2 year old) and forget to hang up your keys. Then you end up looking all over for your keys while you listen to your husband remind you "that if you just hung up your keys in the same place every time you wouldn't have this problem." He's such a help

We have a key hook by the back door...

I too have a little shelf with hooks that we hang just inside the kitchen. I keep my keys there, but DH keeps his in his pocket.

We have a hanging organizer in our kitchen. But since I park my car in the garage during the winter I usually leave my keys right in there.

We have one of those key holder things that has the slots for mail beside our door- however I rarely put mine there- I usually keep them in my jacket pocket- but in the summer they are in my catchall by the door (which is not there right now!).

We have a cute key hook that my dd made in vacation bible school along time ago that my dh uses. My dd keeps hers in her school bag and I keep mine in my purse.
