Today is Ash Wednesday, and now that Lent has started, I've decided to shake up my methods of operation a little. You know how you sit down at the computer just to check in quickly and sit there for twenty minutes? That is me. Several times a day .

Twenty minutes here and there really add up, and there are so many things I have let slide just to get my computer fix in. So, during Lent, I will only be on line at night, after my kids are asleep, and after I've spent 30 minutes doing something to better the household (cleaning, decluttering, whatever- and, yes, I will be setting a timer for that time).

I accomplished a lot today that normally would not have been done in a timely fashion- all because I stayed out of the "hot seat". I'm hoping to accomplish even more during the next six weeks. So.. see you after dinner!

I was just telling my husband yesterday that I wanted to cut down on computer time for Lent. I don't have the tv on during the day but I spend a lot of time on the computer when I should be playing with my children or cleaning the house! I started working part time last week so I already started to cut down but I would like to get it down to an hour a day.

That is what I am shooting for- no more than an hour, at night. It's been kind of a relief yesterday and today not feeling like I had to check in on line every chance I got.

I started my FTJ spending freeze for Lent but this is another good goal. My problem is that I check online occasionally throughout the day because I'm at work in front of the computer for 9 hours straight. I am leaving my job at the end of Feb., so once I'm home this is being added to my goals!

I do the same thing! This morning I made myself do little projects around the house instead of sitting down here. I cleaned and decluttered my daughter's room while she was at school.

I so need to do this too! Ever since I found Mommysavers, I have started to neglect housework...lol I really may try to start getting on after my son is in bed & some housework is done too. Thanks for the reminder/inspiration!
