We've had our first cloth bag ... probably about 10 months and they're all still holding up! I have the black ones from Safeway and greens ones from Yokes. I've also gotten pretty good at taking them. I forget now and then. My husband is awful. Even when I remind him to grab a shopping bag and put it out on the counter for him, he forgets it.

I've also cut down our shopping bags, I'm sure more than half, and yet still seem to have a ton of the things. It is amazing how quickly they add up.

How is everyone else doing?

My bags are doing great. I purchased a few smaller green bags to add to my collection because they are easier to load, etc. I keep forgetting to check out the bags at Target. I'm very anal about it and don't forget. However, my husband refuses to drag a bag along! The few that he brings home are used for trash can liners.

My bags are doing great. I love them and I don't even miss the plastic ones that rip.

To make sure I don't forget them when they are empty I put them in the car. If I forget to bring them in the store (I only did this once) I go back out to the car and get them.

One of mine (which I'm using for library books) is bursting at the seams, and I've already fixed it once. But I am just using old tote bags I have around the house. The other two are doing ok.
I have gotten back into the habit of remembering my bags, but it still seems like I end up with plastic bags at home. I use them in trash cans, or recycle them at the store.

I have a cold bag that I got at Aldi's and then I have a huge cloth tote bag from Toys R Us. I keep forgetting to bring my stash of plastic bags though. When I go to Wal-Mart this weekend I will recycle the plastic bags that have holes or something (just noticed Wal-Mart just put up a recycle bin). Then I will start using my cloth bags everytime now!

I LOVE MY CLOTH BAGS! I have the ones that are actually made for grocery shopping. I have so many that I keep some in the car and have some in the house and move those to the car when I get a bunch. It is awesome. Where I used to walk out of Kroger with 15 plastic bags I now walk out with 5 or 6 cloth bags. I have started to remember to take them to Target. The funny thing is is each time I check out they ask me if they are my bags - like they are something I would have bought there.

The cloth bags are such a great idea. I've not started using them yet but I'm going to make a point to get a couple this weekend to start using. I use the plastic bags for my lunches every day to take to work but there are still a lot that we throw away. And we really don't have a "place" for them so they are just a big mess in our pantry!

I bought a cloth bag from Target today. LOOOOVE IT! It is nicer than the green bags I bought a the grocery store... but it was .50 more.

I have some Chico bags and two cloth bags from Trader Joes. I love all my reusable bags, but sometimes I don't have them when I need them. They are always in my car. I forget to bring them when we take my husbands car. I'm really going to try harder to make using them a priority.

I FINALLY bought some bags a month or so ago and I don't know what I was so worried about! (I was afraid what people would think) It isn't a big deal at all. I bought the bags at Wal-Mart. They are on for a $1 now but I was able to get them .50 each when they first came out.

I remember them about 90% of the time at Wal-Mart and all the time at CVS. I haven't brought them to Target yet....but I do like getting some plastic bags for my garage sale, etc. and I don't shop at Target THAT much.
