I have read that some of you like to use olive oil to dust with. However, it would seem that the oil would build up over time. What else does anyone else use. Pledge is the only chemical type cleaner I still use in my home and I am trying to eliminate it. TIA!

This isn't as green as olive oil but I have bought the Method furniture cleaner. It works well and has an awesome smell. The scent is almond, not sure how natural it is because the scent is strong, but almond extract can have a pretty strong scent, too. My preteen, (who seems to like everything neon, plastic or glowing, with a fake strawberry scent) commented on how great the cleaner smelled. All though it may not be as green as olive oil, it would probably be better than pledge!

I use Method's furn cleaner as well. I love it! It is in a pump spray bottle and smells awesome. It is a little high compared to pledge and other brands, but to me it works much better. It cleans and polishes very well.
