I'm going after the earrings today. Do you have pierced ears? I love earrings... but, just like with everything else, I find myself wearing the same pairs over and over. So, time to evaluate what's in my earring stash. What's on my hit list? Unmatched pairs (after five years I have to admit the missing one really never is going to turn up), gift pairs that I never really liked or wore, anything left over from high school or college that I'm keeping just because....

Here's another thought: jewelry in general (earrings, necklaces, etc) can become a great gift. If you have something nice that for whatever reason you no longer wear, clean it well and consider giving it as a gift to a friend, sister or niece (birthday, graduation, etc). Include a note explaining what the item meant to you and any history it has. Start a tradition of passing it on. :D
