Wow! I'm surprised at how many of you have big houses!
We are a family of three (soon to be 4 when DS arrives!) We live an a older home, built in the 1700s, 1404 sq. ft. colonial with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The only thing I don't like about it is that there is no attic, which I guess is typical in older homes. And the basement is not that big, certainly not big enough for us to store things. But it does have a huge sunroom and an extra-large walk-in pantry which is a wonderful thing, ESPECIALLY now that I've started stockpiling!
I think if we had to buy again, I'd keep the square footage because it does suit us quite well, but I'd like a ranch instead. Lugging a vacuum up and downstairs (especially when you're pregnant), is really starting to get to me.....
