We are a family of 4 and our house is 3200 sf. We use every single inch of it. The layout is perfect and we truly feel this is a house we can raise our children in without ever needing more space.

We are a family of 6, we live in a 2 story 2542 sq. ft. home. The first story has a formal living room (we use it as a playroom/office), a den, a kitchen, a breakfast nook, a large laundry room and a 1/2 bath. The second story has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. All our bedrooms are big with walk in closets. We really need one more bedroom but all the houses we have looked at do not have a floorplan we like and the bedrooms are tiny.

When we moved here we only had 2 children and the house seemed a little too big for us but since then we have added 2 more.

I think our home is about 2500 sq feet. There are currently 7 of us and 2 dogs. We like it !! We had 9 people when we first bought this house and it was a bit crowded. We do not plan on moving until after the kiddos are all long gone.

We are a family of four with 2 lab mixes. Our home is 1500sqft. A little crowded at times, but as someone else said, I also like our smaller mortgage!

Only about 1,000 sq ft. for 3 people, but looks and feels bigger, thanks to an open balcony and very few walls, and a big deck. Sometimes I wish we had a second bathroom - but then I think about having to clean a second bathroom - then not so sure.

We also have a huge yard, live on a dead-end road (so little traffic) and have great neighbors! I love this place!

The two of us live in a 850 sqft town house and it is ok. We have two small bedrooms 1 full bath and then a powder room and a living room attached to the eat in kitchen. It is divided between two stories which makes it seem much smaller.

We moved into this apt from a 450 sq ft apartment! At the end of this year we are moving again into a 1254 sq ft duplex. It will be the first home that has a laundry room -- yippee!!!
